Generic Underground Induction

"Having worked underground about 8-10 years ago I had basic knowledge of underground operations and mine requirements, after completing the course I now consider my understanding to be significantly better and have learnt a lot that I did not know while working underground previously. Throughout my 22 years of rail construction I have completed a lot of training courses, the team at the Mines Rescue facility would be some of the best trainers I have been involved with in my 22 years. Our trainer worked with our group over the four days and demonstrated what a training facility should be. The whole team are very professional and I have no hesitation in recommending anyone to undergo the Generic Underground Induction."

— Andrew Latimer, Project Superintendent, Bauhinia Electrification Project

"The Generic Underground Induction is an excellent introduction to the industry. The theory components were relevant and interesting and the practical exercises provided real training and simulation. Our trainer Andrew got the best out of us and kept us entertained with some stories from his 20 years plus experience. The staff, food and facilities exceeded expectations."

— Matt Bergin, Sandvik Underground Mining Flameproof Equipment Pty. Ltd.
