Course Overview

The Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response & Rescue is designed for individuals who wish to participate as part of a mines rescue emergency response team in U/G mines.

Mines Rescue Pty Ltd is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and offers the RII30709 qualification as a partial completion option and the full qualification. These courses are designed to the needs of participants wishing to become effective team members of a mines rescue emergency response.

The courses provide extensive knowledge & skills in mines rescue techniques and use of equipment in a rescue environment.

Qualification Information

Upon successful completion of the mandatory units and sufficient electives, participants will be awarded the following:

• RII30709 Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response & Rescue
• Partial completion of RII30709 Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response & Rescue is awarded if all units are not completed

Delivery Strategy

Mines Rescue offers the Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response & Rescue over 5 days (40 hours) initially and within 6 weeks there is to be a follow-up assessment training of 1 day (8-12 hours).

Face to face training and Practical training scenarios will be under the guidance of one of our qualified trainers who holds relevant and up to date qualifications and has extensive rescue industry experience.
